A century old staircase, reimagined. Light-filled walls, coastal blues, and every cherished detail lovingly restored for a new chapter. ✨

Is it restored if it’s painted? 🤔 It was beautiful before.
The original wood is beautiful but I think it's better to have light colored wood on a stairway. It's so much easier to see where you're walking with lighter colors.
I choose the beautiful woodwork and craftsmanship over blue coastal.
I love it! It looks so bright and cheery and welcoming!
With that said, I appreciate all the work Stonecliffe poured into the updates. It's still pretty but moving forward I wouldn't keep changing all the original wood.
i was fortunate to stay there this year. it is stunning. my room was beautiful. the outside ground r immaculate. highly recommend.
I hate to see the beautiful wood covered, however the new wall color really makes those stained glass windows pop!
The after is gorgeous!
I prefer the old. I would've just brightened it up with a lighter eleghant rug. Maybe also lighter pictures or sconces, but defintely would keep the original wood. Once you paint it, it is so hard to go back.
Welcome to the Holiday Inn. That carpet is hideous and painting that original woodwork was a crime
Oh no!!!!!!!!! Painting woodwork 😭
What a mistake to share this. They ruined this historic staircase...
I like the old better.
That looks absolutely awful afterwards. I can't believe you painted that antique woodwork, and the new carpet looks like cheap airport carpet.
If the owners want to make a historic venue look like a new build, why don't they go buy a new venue? What other disaster is about to happen to this property. Apparently, money can't buy good taste.
Shame!
Nope.
Ruined
Vintage elegance destroyed.
Before is MUCH better! Why do you people have to ruin EVERYTHING?
